Leases and Concessions

Leases and concessions of real estate assets relating to the monumental headquarters include contracts with UNICEF for offices, the University of Florence for the use of lecture rooms/auditoria, the Municipality of Florence for managing crèches and kindergartens, and the concession for the Caffè del Verone.

Almost all the other buildings, except the uninhabitable units, are leased.

89% of the agricultural land has been leased or granted in concession. In part, this has been achieved thanks to the tenders of the ‘Banca della terra’ (Land Bank), which have favoured young agricultural entrepreneurs.
