Government Reports to the UN
Report on the State of Implementation of the Convention on the Rights of the Child in Italy
Area di attività
Every five years, the Italian Government drafts a Report on the implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child on the basis of a general format specifically prepared by the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child.
The Report examines the main legislative, administrative and legal instruments through which Italy applies the Convention and its related Optional Protocols.
The Report is an instrument each State has to use to provide information on the condition of children and adolescents in its territory and outlines Government’s actions adopted and enforced with the aim of fully implementing the provisions of the Convention.
