As part of its technical and scientific consultancy activities for the National Observatory for Childhood and Adolescence, the Institute is helping to prepare the biennial Report on the condition of children in Italy.
Drafting the biennial Report meets Italy's duties to monitor the living conditions of children and adolescents and the implementation of their rights. Italy has to fulfil these obligations in accordance with the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
All the ministries and other central State administrations dealing with issues related to childhood and adolescence, the Regions and Autonomous Provinces and other public and private bodies operating in this sector contribute to the collection of information and statistical data for the biennial report.
